On December 12th, 2023, the Pithoragarh Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Pithoragarh College of Nursing, both esteemed institutions under the Pithoragarh Group of Institutions, organized a free medical health camp at the Atal Utkrisht Trilok Singh Basera Government Inter College in Dewalthal. This initiative aimed to provide basic healthcare services to the local community, particularly focusing on areas with limited access to medical facilities.

The primary objective of this health camp was to provide basic medical check-ups to the local community, including essential data such as weight, blood pressure, random blood sugar, blood group, and hemoglobin levels. The event, organized by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, aimed not only to deal with present-day health issues but also to raise awareness about preventive healthcare measures.

The team of medical professionals, which included Dr. Mansi Lohani, Mr. Riky Kumar (CHO), Pramod Kumar (optometrist), Mrs. Sharmila Dhoni (pharmacist), and Mr. Sachin Dev Chaukiyal (pharmacist), collaborated seamlessly to ensure the success of the health camp. They provide motivational sessions to inspire and guide the students towards a promising future.
