Training & Placement Cell
The Training and Placement Cell of Pithoragarh College of Nursing (PCN), Pithoragarh Institute of Bio medical Science (PIBS) & Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management (PITM) under Pithoragarh Group of Institution (PGI) Pithoragarh placement of the students. The Placement Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of placement process. Arrangements for Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Interviews and Group Discussions are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies.
Objectives
- Facilitate Campus Interviews and Summer Internships: Organize campus interviews for final year students and secure summer internships for third-year students by partnering with industries and esteemed businesses across India.
- Enhance Interview Readiness: Prepare students to excel in campus interviews through comprehensive training in aptitude tests, group discussions, and rigorous preparation for technical and HR interviews, facilitated by professional trainers.
- Career Counseling: Foster career counseling by arranging informative lectures conducted by senior corporate executives, aiding students in making informed career choices.
- Industry Engagement: Maintain ongoing interaction with industry professionals through seminars, guest lectures, conferences, corporate meets, and similar events to bridge the academia-industry gap.
- Personal Development and Communication Skills: Equip students with essential personality development and communication skills to bolster their employability and overall development.
- Industry Collaboration: Collaborate with industry partners for live projects, research endeavors, workshops, academic alliances, and industrial visits to various organizations, providing students with hands-on experiences and exposure to real-world scenarios.
