“This college was my dream — for the children of my land, my hills.”
The establishment of PGI College Pithoragarh was not just the creation of an institution — it was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream: to bring quality, career-oriented education to the doorsteps of students living in the remote hills of Uttarakhand.
With over 40 years of experience in academics and educational leadership, I had seen firsthand how real progress begins when education reaches every corner of our country — not just the big cities, but also our villages, our mountains, and our local communities.
PGI is more than a college — – It is a movement of self-reliance, – A platform for hidden talent, – And a family for students who dare to dream and work hard to achieve them.
My vision was simple: That no student from the hills should be forced to leave their home, family, or roots in search of opportunity. Whether it’s Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, Agriculture, Hospitality, IT, or Business — PGI was created to give every child of the hills a chance to learn, grow, and build their future right here.

“यह कॉलेज मेरे पहाड़ के बच्चों के लिए मेरा सपना था।”
PGI कॉलेज, पिथौरागढ़ की स्थापना केवल एक संस्थान की शुरुआत नहीं थी — यह मेरे जीवन का एक बड़ा सपना था जो अब सच हुआ है: कि उत्तराखंड की पहाड़ियों में रहने वाले हर बच्चे को उनके घर के पास गुणवत्तापूर्ण और व्यावसायिक शिक्षा प्राप्त हो सके।
शिक्षा विभाग में 40 वर्षों से अधिक के अनुभव के साथ मैंने यह समझा कि सच्ची तरक्की तब होती है जब शिक्षा केवल शहरों में ही नहीं, बल्कि गाँवों, पहाड़ों और दूरदराज़ के क्षेत्रों तक पहुँचती है।
PGI केवल एक कॉलेज नहीं है — – यह है एक आत्मनिर्भरता का आंदोलन, – प्रतिभाओ के लिए एक मंच, – और उन छात्रों का परिवार, जो बड़े सपने देखते हैं और उन्हें पूरा करने के लिए मेहनत करते हैं।
मेरा सपना था कि पहाड़ों का कोई भी छात्र, अवसर की तलाश में अपना घर, गाँव या राज्य छोड़ने के लिए मजबूर न हो। चाहे वो नर्सिंग हो, पैरामेडिकल साइंसेज़, कृषि, हॉस्पिटैलिटी, आईटी या बिज़नेस — PGI इसीलिए बना ताकि हर विद्यार्थी को अपने ही ज़िले में आगे बढ़ने का मौका मिल सके।

Dear Students, Parents, and Well-Wishers, PGI College was founded with a clear purpose — to end the need for students in Uttarakhand to migrate to distant cities in search of quality education and career opportunities. As someone who understands the challenges faced by students in remote regions, I took this mission personally.
At PGI, we have built more than a college — we have created a center of opportunity, right here in Pithoragarh. Our institution offers affordable, industry-relevant globally recognised programs in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, IT, Management, Agriculture, and Hospitality, supported by Experienced Team, Top infrastructure, Modern Labs, well Sticker Library, Hostel Mess, Transport Facility, practical training, hospital and industry partnerships, WiFi & Digital Campus and A dedicated placement cell.
We believe the youth of Uttarakhand deserve to thrive without leaving their roots behind. Our mission is to transform local talent into national contributors by equipping them with realworld skills, values-driven education, and the confidence to lead.

प्रिय छात्रगण, अभिभावकों एवं शुभचिंतकों , PGI कॉ लेज की स्थापना एक उद्देश्य के साथ की गई थी — उत्तराखंड के छात्रों को गुणवत्ता पूर्ण शिक्षा और उज्जवल करियर की तलाश में शहरों की ओर पलायन करने की आवश्यकता हो ।
पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में छात्रों को आने वाली चुनौतियों को हम भलीभांति समझते हैं, और यही हमारा प्रेरणा स्रोत रहा । हमने केवल एक कॉलेज नहीं , बल्कि एक अवसरों का केन्द्र पिथौरागढ़ में स्थापित किया है। हमारा संस्थान सस्ती, उद्योग-उन्मुख और वैश्विक स्तर पर मान्यता प्राप्त कोर्सेज दान करता है, जैसे कि नर्सिंग, पैरामेडिकल साइंस, आई.टी ., मैनेजमेंट, एग्रीकल्चर और हॉस्पिटैलिटी ।
यह सब संभव हुआ है हमारे अनुभवी फैकल्टी, आधुनिक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर,अत्यधुनिक लैब्स, सुसज्जित लाइब्रेरी , हॉस्टल व मेस सुविधा, ट्रांसपोर्टेशन, प्रैक्टिकल ट्रेनिंग, अस्पताल और इंडस्ट्री टाई-अप, वाईफाई युक्त डिजिटल कैंपस, और एक समर्पित प्लेसमेंट सेल के कारण। हम मानते हैं कि उत्तराखंड का युवा अपनी जड़ों से जुड़ा रहकर भी आगे बढ़ सकता है। हमारा लक्ष्य है कि हम स्थानीय प्रतिभाओ को रियल-वर्ल्ड स्किलस, संस्कार आधारित शिक्षा, और नेतृव की छमता से सशक्त बनाए। संस्थापक सह उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में, मुझे गर्व है कि PGI ने छात्रों और अभिभावकों के दिलों में आस्था और विश्वास बनाया है। यहाँ हर विद्यार्थी को सिर्फ एक नौकरी के लिए नहीं , बल्कि एक परिवर्तनकर्ता के रूप में तैयार किया जाता है — जो न केवल अपने परिवार, बल्कि पूरे समाज और देश का भविष्य संवार सके।
