On 11th July 2025, PGI Pithoragarh proudly organized a thoughtful and impactful program on the occasion of World Population Day. The event was coordinated under the guidance of Asst. Professor Abhishek Singh Bisht, and conducted by Mrs. Vineeta and Mr. Naved.
The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness about global population challenges and promote informed discussions around crucial topics such as family planning, healthcare access, gender equality, poverty, and human rights.
Event Highlights:
- Skit Presentation:
A compelling skit performed by the students addressed critical issues like population control, modern family planning methods, and the consequences of overpopulation. The performance left the audience with a strong social message and inspired moral reflection. - Quiz Competition:
A lively quiz competition was held for all PGI students, designed to educate and engage participants in meaningful conversations about global population trends and solutions. The activity sparked curiosity and reinforced the importance of individual awareness in tackling population-related challenges.
