PGI Pithoragarh College is one of the best college in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand that is actively participating in the Swachh Bharat Mission. The college has taken a number of steps to promote cleanliness and hygiene on its campus.

Today, May 23, 2023, the students and instructors from all the departments at PGI  Pithoragarh  (PGI), Bungachhina Pithoragarh, performed a cleanliness drive.

This was launched with a protest and chants by academics and students. Following that, all of the pupils gathered trash and plastic in the vicinity of Bungachhina and cleaned the water stream. The major goal of this campaign is to educate children about the importance of environmental preservation and their own roles in maintaining a clean environment. The Swachh Bharat Mission at PGI Pithoragarh College embodies a commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall well-being of our educational institution. This mission, inspired by the nationwide Swachh Bharat Mission, reflects our collective determination to create a cleaner and healthier environment for both students and staff. Through regular cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and waste management initiatives, we aim to instill a sense of responsibility and civic duty in our students. Keeping our campus clean is not just about aesthetics but also about fostering a conducive learning atmosphere and promoting good health.
