PGI Pithoragarh College Fee Refund Policy

This policy outlines the conditions under which PGI Pithoragarh College will provide a refund of tuition fees to students.

Refundable Amount: Only tuition fees are subject to refund under this policy.

Refund Deadlines:

  • 100% Refund: Students can receive a full refund of their tuition fees within 10 days of registration, provided no classes have been attended.
  • 50% Refund: Students who withdraw after 10 days of registration but before classes begin may be eligible for a 50% refund, subject to approval by the competent authority.

No Refund: No refund will be granted to students who have attended any classes in the program they are withdrawing from.

Note: Registration Fee will not be refundable.

Additional Considerations:

  • Deposited fees cannot be transferred to other students (relatives or friends) unless permitted by the Competent Authority.
  • In case of a validly authorized withdrawal with prior notification to the Campus Director, deposited fees may be carried forward to the next academic session for the same student.
  • Any fee discounts or concessions require approval from the competent authority.
  • The College will follow any superseding guidelines issued by the UGC/HE (University Grants Commission/Higher Education) regarding fee refunds.
  • All refund requests require approval from the competent authority.
